Modular Student Desks and Chairs are designed for individual or collaborative use and can be quickly arranged anywhere in the 21st century classroom.
In traditional classrooms, the one-to-one ratio of desk and chair for every student creates a fixed-space learning environment that leads teachers to fall back on direct instruction. When classroom space is consumed with 90% student desks and chairs, project-based learning is constricted by the room design itself.
There are no rules in what makes a micro learning spaces environment, but the outstanding guideline is that desks and chairs consume no more than 50% of the space in the classroom. The change towards a 21st classroom begins here.
