A Clean(ing) Environment

As mentioned before, every classroom should have wall to wall carpet in the 21st century classroom. What should also come as standard equipment is a vacuum cleaner for every one of these classrooms. If budgets are tight for this particular item, we would highly recommend a couple of manual carpet sweepers.

I think it will be very important to get our students in on the daily cleaning act while using micro learning spaces. By the very nature of students and teachers getting closer and lower in their learning environment, it is extremely important for everyone to pickup after themselves and keep the place you sit, lay and then walk on, clean. If students start learning in a culture that their classroom is now a little more like home, maybe we will also see a bump in the respect and care for everything inside the learning environment.
